Steve Austin Comments On “Stone Cold” On WWE WrestleMania 39 Rumors – Wrestling Inc.


This year marks 20 years since “Stone Cold” Steve Austin retired from professional wrestling. The Texas native shocked the world last year WrestleMania 38 in Dallas When he put his boots back on to face Kevin Owens in the No Holds Barred main event. Seeing as WWE has gone so well for him, WWE has approached Austin with several courts for this year’s card in Hollywood. With two weeks left until the event, Austin was not confirmed to appear in any capacity.

The WWE Hall of Famer was recently a guest on “Casual Conversations with The ClassicHe addressed the WrestleMania rumors and claimed he hadn’t heard anything from WWE.

“I didn’t hear anything,” Austin said. “We’re literally, as we’re talking now, about two weeks away and this is the biggest show of the year. Right now, I think WWE has a roster as good as it has been since the Attitude Era. The roster is deep, so I think a lot of guys and gals need those coveted spots. They have a lot of names to draw from, a lot of talent to draw from. I think they should turn the spotlight and the cameras on their existing stars.”

Various reports over the past few months said that the 58-year-old was Matches against the likes of WWE Universal Champion Roman ReignsAnd Brock Lesnar and even L.A. Knight. WWE and Austin were reportedly not on the same financial terms when the matches against Reigns and Lesnar were brought up. while, Pitch to face Knight Showed up recently because it’s not currently booked for the biggest event of the year.
