Sergio Garcia responds to Fred Kobles’ “clowns” comment, and looks forward to enjoying the Champions Dinner
Sergio Garcia says he is disappointed in fellow Masters champion Fred Kobles, who last week unleashed some barbs at Garcia and other members of LIV Golf.
The couples, speaking ahead of the PGA Tour Champions’ Hough Classic in Newport Beach, California, included Garcia making reference to their annoyance with “all these other clowns” while also calling Phil Mickelson a “nutbag.”

Mickelson, who missed last year’s Masters festivities, is expected to return in a few weeks at Augusta National, where he, Sergio Garcia and a few other former Green Jackets winners who joined LIV will join the pairs in attendance at the Champions Dinner. , hosted by Scotty Scheffler on the Tuesday night before the tournament.
