Pennsylvania woman hacked to death while feeding neighbor’s dogs while young son looks on: Police
a Pennsylvania woman She was killed by two of her neighbor’s Great Danes while feeding them while their owner was away, according to police.
Christine Potter, 38, of Center Township in Perry County, died Thursday despite the efforts of emergency responders and police officers, who were unable to reach her until animal control arrived and calmed the dogs, according to the Guardian. WGAL, the local NBC affiliate.
Perry County Detective Robert Ressler told the outlet that Potter had fed dogs before and that she had gone home with her young son, who eventually ran for help after the dogs attacked his mother.

“He was present at the scene, but I don’t think he was present for most of it,” Ressler said of Potter’s son. “As soon as he saw the dogs start attacking his mother, he ran across the road to tell his brother to call 911.”
There was also another Great Dane and a French Bulldog in the house but they didn’t attack. Two Great Danes that fought Potter Raheem was killed by a veterinarian, and the state police are continuing to investigate the incident.
Brandon Zaiders, who works with Potter’s sister, Ben Live said State police believe that the Great Danes may have been fighting with each other and then turned on a potter when she tried to intervene.

“I’m heartbroken,” dog owner Wendy Sabatny told the outlet, noting that she was speaking from the hospital where her mom is in intensive care. “I’m in shock. I’m in disbelief and I just want to die. I can’t believe this happened.”
Many people have claimed that Sabathne The dogs showed aggression before. Potter’s father, Bill Keefer, claimed that dogs had bitten his daughter two or three years earlier.
State Police Trooper Kelly Abate told the outlet that a decision has not yet been made on whether Sabatny will face charges.
Potter has suffered multiple tragedies in recent years, after losing her husband and 11-year-old son, according to Penn Live.
