Mercedes Moon Won’t Discuss Her Leaving WWE – Wrestling Inc.

Sasha Banks and Naomi made several headlines in May 2022 when They are said to have exited WWE As the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. With creative differences said to be the reason, WWE stripped them of the titles and Slam them with statements online and on air, referring to them as “unprofessional”. Banks, now managed by Mercedes Mooney, has since achieved fame in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as the IWGP Women’s Champion.

Moné also appears frequently at, and has recently participated in, conventions in the present day panel at Planet Comicon in Kansas City. During the session, a fan asked Mooney if she was considering returning to WWE after Vince McMahon retired.

“First of all, nobody knows the story,” Mooney said. “You don’t know the story. But you read what you want to read and believe everything you want to believe. Nobody knows the story because I didn’t say anything, and I’m not going to say anything because that’s just me being a classy boss, CEO.” Mooney said she thinks it’s cool to see people like Dakota Kai come back because this was their dream. But for her, the dream was to work in Japan, and that was something she had yet to achieve.

She added, “As my career has progressed, I’ve been in WWE for almost 10 years. I had to make a change.” “I had to feel something different in my heart and soul, so I had to pursue a whole new dream and a whole new chapter and a whole new destiny for me, and that’s where I want to be and that’s what I want. I wanted that for me, that’s all. This is what I am about to achieve. This is my dream.”
