LIV Golf TV ratings got worse somehow with the Tucson event


Remember when LIV Golf was supposed to take over the sport?

It sure is no She does so with her television ratings so far on the CW network.

According to one report, the ratings plummeted during the second event of the year this weekend in Tucson, Arizona.

Kevin Van Valkenburg from golf-focused No Laying Up LIV Golf reported a rating of 0.14 in the key 18-49 demographic across 33 markets from their show in Arizona on Saturday.

It’s a worse performance than it was just three weeks ago.

Just last month, LIV Golf made its TV debut for the 2023 event in Mexico, and The ratings were disastrous.

LIV Golf Mayakoba similarly scored a 0.2 in the Saturday night ratings, bettered by “Funny Animals of the World” later that day.

The league agreed to a multi-year deal with The CW in January after its events aired last year.

Fireballs FC, led by 2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia, was leading the team competition in Tucson late Sunday at 25 under par.

Luis Oosthuizen, Carlos Ortiz, Brendan Steele and Danny Lee were on their way to a four-way playoff after finishing in the final tied at 9-under.
