One man on TikTok revealed how to painlessly remove a Band-Aid from any part of your body, and some viewers were completely shocked.
The viral video, made by a Los Angeles-based content creator Sydney RazIt has already reached 1.4 million views on the app.
On his platform, Raz often shares life hacks and tricks with his followers, and this one is no different.
At the start of the 20-second clip, Raz admits, “This is something I didn’t know until I was in my 30s. Bandages can be taken off painlessly?”
Then, Raz proceeded to share his simple hack: He put on a small plastic bandage, removed it in an upward motion, and pulled it off the skin.
“I didn’t feel that happening,” he declared.
The post has reached out to the TikTok creator for comment.
“Pull out the Band-Aid,” he explained at the end of the video.
In the comments section, plenty of people have been taken with the life hack and claimed that removing it this way worked for them and made the removal completely painless.
“I tried it with the cloth, it really works 🤯” one user claimed.
Another agreed, writing, “I put a bandage on my arm for this. Pulling it a bit to take it hurt, but then it pulled off and all of a sudden. I’m a fan.”
One person declared: “…I’m not going to lie, I collected my 3 kids and showed them this life hack 😂”. “It’s been 40 years without my knowledge, they won’t be denied!”
However, some criticized the creator for apparently not leaving Band-Aid long enough.
“Well, of course it will come off easier after you put it on!!” commented one viewer. “Dude now put it on and leave it for a few days and try it 😂.”
Another person pointed out, “I’m going to need this with a bandage. Not for kids. Because those types of cloth don’t come off without water sometimes and that still hurts lol.”
