Free agent WR Odell Beckham has dismissed reports that he is seeking a $20 million per year contract
Three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. He continues to search for his next NFL team.
Beckham recently had a private workout in Arizona and caught the attention of many teams.
According to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones, the Panthers, Giants, Patriots, Rams, Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs, Vikings, Browns and Ravens are represented at the workout.
Despite the high level of interest, Beckham remains unsigned, and one of the reasons the star didn’t get a contract seems to be related to his reported salary demands.

The 30-year-old took over to Twitter Saturday to back off the notion that he’s seeking a contract with an annual average of at least $20 million.
Beckham has disputed claims that he is seeking $20 million a year on the open market. However, he also added that it would take more than $4 million to complete the deal.

Beckham wrote: “I’m so confused that the quote from me (who) said I wanted 20….. all I’m saying is 4 AINT is enough”.
It is unclear if Beckham has actually received the $4 million offer.
Last week, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported that Beckham wanted to sign a contract that would pay him around $20 million a season. However, Tom Bellisero previously reported that the OBJ has not made “any financial requests.”
Cowboys Beckham called out publicly for several weeks at the end of last season but was notably absent from his private workout. Longtime Cowboys owner Jerry Jones seemed more interested in learning more about Beckham’s mother, Heather Van Norman.

“I had an absolutely wonderful conversation with the most important person in this whole proposal, which is his mother,” Jones told Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “It was really easy for me to see where Odile was [Beckham] He got a lot of positives. It was so wonderful. You can see where he gets a lot of the things he has.”
It’s a less-than-ideal time to be a wide receiver in the free agent market, but some receivers made contracts earlier this week.

Beckham’s health will be closely assessed by any team considering signing him.

But he’s clearly not interested in any low-ball performances.
“They want to try Mouton, but they’re paying for that wine.” Beckham tweeted Thursday.
