Arkansas upsets defending champion Kansas and advances to the Sweet 16
There will be no recurring champion in March mad.
The top-ranked Kansas Jayhawks are heading home after being upset no. 8 Arkansas72-71, in the second round.
Kansas led by as many as 12 points, but Arkansas responded with an 18-5 run to take a one-point lead, its first since going 2-0.

Both teams traded buckets with neither team being able to increase their lead by more than four points for several minutes.

Kansas called its final timeout with 16.1 seconds left, elected a layup, and an error was called. Wilson made two free throws to cut the deficit to one, but Kansas had to foul the board and make two free throws with 7.1 seconds left in the game.
